To assist in this mission, we provide many workshops and outlets for our youth to progress further into their career and life goals. These activities are specifically designed to motivate our youth to acquire traits and skills to better one's self esteem and mental health, as well as broaden their views to discover all the possibilities that await them in the future. We strongly believe in keeping our individual backgrounds and cultures close to the heart, while expanding our mental boarders to break the stigma that may be placed upon us by society. A strong heart, daring mind and kind soul will lead our communities to thrive with acceptance and love.
SEACMA youth had an unforgettable experience as they stepped into the world of dance with world-class performer Yamini Kalluri. With energy, enthusiasm, and determination, they tried to keep up with her graceful yet intricate movements, learning the beauty and discipline of classical dance. The workshop was an inspiring blend of culture, rhythm, and self-expression, allowing participants to challenge themselves while embracing the artistry of movement. Through this experience, our youth gained not just new dance skills but also confidence, perseverance, and a deeper appreciation for diverse artistic traditions.
Youth and staff came together to distribute essential health information at a recent community event, ensuring that vital resources reached those in need. Their teamwork and dedication helped raise awareness about important health topics, empowering individuals with knowledge to make informed decisions. Through engaging discussions and informative materials, they fostered connections, answered questions, and provided guidance on available health services. This collaborative effort highlights SEACMA’s commitment to community well-being, education, and ensuring that everyone has access to the information they need to lead healthier lives.
