Saw Reh, B.A.

Saw Reh came to the US as a refugee. He lived in a refugee camp in Thailand on the border of Myanmar for thirteen years. Saw’s passion for helping people started since he was young. Saw was a youth leader in the refugee camp. He also worked as a community social worker for COERR (Catholic Office for Emergency Relief and Refugees) before moving to the US.
Saw’s strong compassion for people has led him to become a highly respected and trusted member of the Worcester Burmese community for which he is now the President. At SEACMA, Saw is responsible for conducting community outreach and has assisted numerous refugees and immigrants from Myanmar and Afghanistan to connect to resources and services.
